Young Gun Shaun Griffiths

Shaun Griffiths won consecutive Winmau World Youth Masters titles in 2007 and 2008. In 2010, he won the British Teenage Open, and reached the quarter-finals of the PDC Under-21 World Championship.
Griffiths played and qualified for the Lakeside World Championship on the first time of asking in 2011, defeating John Henderson, John Lakeman and Andy Boulton to qualify.
Although his first round Lakeside experience was a wake up call, he swiftly showed his resilience and moved on to breeze through qualification for the 2011 PDC Pro Tour as one of four semi-finalists from the first day of the Pro Tour's Q School.
He is also sponsored by Sky Sports darts commentator John Gwynne, who spotted his talents early and firmly believes Shaun is THE one to watch of the new generation in Young Guns in the darts world.
Shaun's confident style and accuracy under pressure have earned him a reputation that exceeds his tender years.
