A rising star in the darts world was seen at the Winter Garden Eastbourne when 17 year old Jake Jones from Staffordshire showed great composure to beat Steve Webster from Kent by 5 legs to 3 to be crowned the Red Dragon Eastbourne Open Champion for 2011 receiving a winner's cheque for £1500.
Jake the polite and calm thrower not only won the main event but he also reached the semi finals of both the Open and Men's Pairs and quarter finals of the Men's and Youths Singles.
With proof that he can win at very high levels and under pressure Jake can go as far as he likes in the darts world.
