 Jamie Lewis wins Gwent Open 2009
Red Dragon Darts rising star Jamie Lewis took the Gwent Open 2009 from a star studded Welsh Darts field, and picked up £500.00 in the process.
So good were Jamie's darts that he only lost only lost three legs all day.
In the quarter finals he won 3 - 0 against Sean Barrnet.
In the Sami Finals he beat Kerain Carter 4 - 2
In the final Jamie faced Lakeside qualifier Robert Hughes, of which he won 4 - 1.
Perhaps even more outstanding was the fact that this event was Jamie's first welsh men's Championship.
Jamie now heads off to play for Wales in the youth cup next week as Welsh team Captain
